Lung cancer prognosis

1. Small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) of prognostic factors

  Physical condition (PS)

  The scope of disease (staging)

  Serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH)

 2. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) of prognostic factors

According to TNM system to determine the clinical and pathological staging, is still non-small cell lung cancer the most powerful prognostic factor.

Gender differences in lung cancer: female lung cancer patients than men have a better survival rate

Lung adenocarcinoma patients than other types of lung cancer patients have better prognosis

 3. At this stage of development

Currently known prognostic factors of lung cancer in the study are acceptable for surgical resection of tumor patients.

For more than 80% are unable to surgery of non-small cell lung cancer patients, and 100% received chemotherapy or combined radiation therapy of small cell lung cancer patients, the existing prognostic factors, there is still a considerable space.

 4. Five-year survival rate of lung cancer
